The PTA first and foremost are the advocates for a better education for our children. To do this effectively, we must raise the funds needed to help our teachers receive the necessary supplies and materials that they need to be effective in the classroom. Tropical PTA has minimized the amount of fundraisers we hold, in the hope that we can keep things simplified for our community. This year we are raising money for in-class supplies, classroom grants, and more educational materials.

Teachers, families and local businesses work together to accomplish these goals by:

• Eating out on Family Nights (at local restaurants)
• Buying Spirit Wear Gear (t-shirts & car magnets)
• Donating online
• Participating in fundraisers
• Sponsoring or finding sponsors for our fundraiser
• Becoming a PTA member
